Hannah, David - born 1760 in Berkeley County, Virginia; entered service 1776 in Greenbrier County, virginia; applied for Pension 1838 in Nicholas County, Virginia as David Sr.; died before learning action on application for Pension; nephew David Hanna sent query letter to Pension Office in 1853 for soldier's widow in Greenbrier County, Virginia; widow's Pension Application rejected; soldier's surname also spelled Hanna.
