On Daniel's 1937 death certificate, the informant, Mrs. Chloe Vogel his daughter, said Richard was born in England and his wife Rebecca was born in Holland. Neither of these birth locations are correct but they may give a clue as to their heritage. http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view.aspx?Id=1263481&Type=Death

Note that his name is on the tombstone but no d/o/d is carved in. His wife's date is there but not his. Could he have been buried elsewhere as per Dollie's memory?? Need d/c to verify.

  5. Dollie Jackson Garretson, Gr-Granddaughter. Norman History as I Remember. (This was handwritten by Dollie, 21 Jan 1973 when she was 77 years old. Janie Kimble has a copy of it.).

Dollie's memory of this was "Along Rt #2 above St. Mary's" and "Huge wall along road where he is buried". There is a possibility of this; also that this is not correct according to his Find-a-Grave memorial page.
