The Late Daniel Minkler Died in Vermillion township, March 9, 1896, Daniel Minkler, aged 81 years, 2 months and 10 days. He was born in the State of New York, December 30, 1814. His parents came to Ohio when he was 2 years old and settled in Geauga county; from there they came to Berlin township, Huron county, now Erie; from there they moved to Vermillion township where he lived until he died. His funeral was held March 11 at the Joppa church, Rev. Shumaker and Rev. Heckelman, ministers of the M.E. church, officiating.
