Facts and Events
On 15 Jan 1810 Benjamin Morris, James Dugger and Daniel Dugger witnessed a deed from Daniel Dugger Sr to William Dugger. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 21 page 192). Daniel Dugger was named in the Nov 1811 court record listing the heirs of Daniel Dugger, deceased. (Brunswick Co., VA Order Book 24 page 357). Although Daniel Dugger was named in the Jan 1812 court record showing the division of the estate of Daniel Dugger, I didn’t see what share of the estate he received. (Brunswick Co., VA Order Book 24 page 514). Daniel was listed on the 1820 census in Dinwiddie Co., VA. Analysis:
On 12 Dec 1829 several of the heirs of Daniel Dugger made a mortgage deed amongst each other: George Stainback of Brunswick of the 1st part; William M. Dugger of the 2nd part; Daniel Dugger, John Dugger and Henry Dugger of Town of Petersburg of the 3rd part. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 28 page 310). Daniel Dugger was listed on the 1830 census in Dinwiddie County still.

Daniel Dugger made a noncupative (spoken, not written) Will on 6 Nov 1837. He named his wife Mary and brother Henry to take charge of his estate. He mentioned "all my children” but didn’t name them. He mentioned his brother William in Alabama. The Will was proven in court by Henry Dugger in Jan 1838. (Brunswick Co., VA Will Book 13 page 204). Daniel Dugger died as a result of a duel with Gen. George C. Dromgoole. References
