Claude Buckner
Funeral services for Claude Buckner, 56, of 1827 North Hilton, who died in Burge-Protestant Hospital Thursday from injuries suffered Feb. 6 when he was caught in a corn picker, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Klingner Chapel with the Rev. Audie Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Buckner is survived by his wife, Gertrude; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Billup; 1814 North Hilton; two sons, Jim, state of Nebraska, and Bobby, serving with the Air Force; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Bagley, Mrs. Noral Ramsey and Mrs. Daisy Willcox, all of Springfield, Mrs. Nora Bolls of Marshfield; two brothers, Ray and Roy, both of Springfield; eight step-children, 10 grandchildren, and 32 step-grandchildren.
