- Depoy, Christopher - born September 1761, Reading, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, son of Isaac; family moved when soldier was a child to Rockingham County, Virginia, where he entered service in 1780; moved abt. 1813 to Buckskin Township, Ross County, Ohio, where Pensioned in 1833; Pennsylvania Dutch descent; brother of John; resided in Ohio in 1833; query letter in file states soldier died in April 1843, & buried Concord Township, Ross County, Ohio, near Austin.
