Dills, 1881) 1880 U.S. Census shows Catharine living with daughter, Helen, age 65, and son-in-law, Henry Buckles, age 65, carpenter; in 2nd Ward, Xenia City, Greene Co., OH. Catharine indicates she was born in VA, father born in PA, mother born in VA. Also indicated is a paralytic condition. 1880 U.S. Census (6/18/80) shows Catharine Swimley Thomas, age 85, living in the 2nd Ward, Xenia City, Greene Co., Ohio, with her daughter, Helen, and son-in-law, Henry Buckles, a carpenter. She indicated her father as born in Pennsylvania, her mother in Virginia. Cause of death (24 Jun 1882) listed as debility on cemetery card. Funeral ordered by Henry Buckles.
