Facts and Events
The relationship has not been proven - but I believe this Benjamin married Eleanor and fathered these children. From Debra Eddy I don't know who his parents were. Benj. & Eleanor married about 1845 as best I can tell, but there is no record of it in Washtenaw County. Benj. and Eleanor had two sons, Benjamin John and George James. Benjamin left her and her two little boys to go West during the Gold Rush, and they never heard from him again. About 1853, Eleanor married a widower of Waterloo Twp., Jackson Co., Eli O. Hatt. Eli had six kids of his own, Eleanor had two, and he and Eleanor had five together. Eli died in 1864, and she married for a third time, to his son, Nathan C. Hatt. She and Nathan had two children together. I don't think today's soap operas could beat this family's story! Not our family - this King family is from Connecticut King, Benjamin F. Gender: The gender of Benjamin F. King is male. Spouse: Susan Sullivan Marriage Date: Jun 18, 1859 State: MI County: Jackson More About: This record can be found at the County Court Records, Film # 0941632 - 0941639. |
