Her grandson was named Joseph Pollard, which seems like a family surname. A marriage was found for a William Polard and Anne Parker 26 DEC 1733 in Pinchbeck, Lincoln, England. In addition, there was a Roger Alleton (Alton) in Aslackby in in the early 1600s.

Carrying the same idea of surnames used as middle names in the Barker family, Ann Marshall Groves m. John Hulifax 21 AUG 1817 in St Mary, Long Sutton, Lincoln and the Grove(s) surname is prevalent in Aslackby in the 1600s and all over Lincolnshire at all times.
