Who removed to the Town of Townsend in May 1766, from the town of Concord, where he 'used the office of a Deacon in the church in that Town many years and until his removal, and thereby purchased to himself a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus' and to the universall of his brethern in that church."
