AGNES P SHEARER BORN AT LISTOWEL, ONT 1878-1943Horn Hill Cemetery is situated in the community of Horn Hill about 10-15 miles south of Red Deer. They have extensive work on it in the past few years and it is a beautiful cemetery. It is on a brow of a hill and looks toward the west and can see the mountains. There is a bench and even a picnic table if you should so wish. My Dad was responsible for this stone with his brothers and their wives. There is another brother buried there also. Bill and our cousin did work on the site last year and now clearly shows the individual stones on the ground. They were sinking in the ground and they raised them up and ran a cement runner. Very impressive. I have another photo of the gate but this shows the name, at least. I didn't take a picture of the Red Deer Cemetery entrance and next time I'm in R.D. if I have time, I will do so.
