    Dated 8 August 1870. Aaron K. Writer, of town of Greenville, Orange Co., New York, bequeaths to wife Abigail; son Theodore Writer; daughters Sarah E. Wood (wife of Timothy A. Wood), Josephine Penny (wife of Robert W. Penney), and Louezy A. Writer. Ex. his wife and son. Witnesses Chas. S. Woodward (of Mount Hope) and Oscar T. Green (of Greenville).

    Theodore Writer petitioned the court on 7 October 1871. Afterward citations were sent to the heirs. The will was proved 21 October 1871 by both witnesses at the Surrogate's office in Middletown.
