    KOSTER, Mrs. Alice M. (Geleynse), age 85 of South B. C. Ave., Lynden, passed away in a Lynden Nursing Home on Sat. Jan. 23, 1982. Born in the Netherlands, Mrs. Koster moved to the Lynden area from Montana in 1919. A member of the Second Christian Reformed Church she is survived by her son John and his wife Marguerite of Lynden; 3 daughters, Mrs. Dena & husband Bill Bierlink of Quincy, Mrs. Bertha Bovenkamp of Lynden and Mrs. Helen & husband Earl Barrent of Denver, Colorado; 3 step-sons, Ralph & wife Jennie Koster of Lynden, Art & wife Iva Koster of Mt. Vernon, Nick & wife Clara Koster of Federal Way; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Carrie & husband John Sebens of Lynden and Mrs. Grace & husband Ed Gelderloos of Menlo Park, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Helen & husband Ernest VanDyke of Nobleford, Alberta, Mrs. Grace Heusinkveld and Mrs. Ida & husband Andrew Hemple all of Lynden and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Wed. Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. in the Second Christian Reformed Church. Burial will follow in Monumenta Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Luke Society or the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee. Services are under the direction of the Gillies Funeral Home, Lynden.
