This is the 2nd of 4 pages. The first concentrates on the Montgomery family, the others on the Baird, Graham and Coplin families.

If this is correct; Alexander Barnett born in 1754 is the son of Robert Barnett born in 1725 and Mary Montgomery. The Alexander Barnett born in 1745 is of unknown parentage and the brother of Joseph Barnett.

The fact that the two families intermarried, and Alexander born 1745 and brother Joseph are thought to be sons of "a" Robert, could definitely cause confusion.
