Ann is named of the mother of John's sons in the parish records of All Hallows, South River Parish, Ann Arundel Co., MD

"It has been suggested that Ann, the first wife of John MOBERLY and named as the mother of his sons, bore the given names Elizabeth Ann and was the Elizabeth WOODS who married John MOBBERLY in Frodsham Parish, Cheshire, England on Oct. 21, 1686. Positive evidence that Elizabeth (WOODS) MOBBERLY was the same person as Mrs. Ann MOBERLY of Ann Arundel Co., MD is desired".

{Maybe Anne Biggers} [Anne Willis has researched the John Biggers family of MD, and believes it possible that she was Anne Biggers[b. ca 1658], dau. of Col. John Biggers, grandau. of John Biggers(will 11/12/1675) and Anne ___, of Calvert Co., MD; and that this could be where the Biggers Christian name came into use in the family; at present this is a hypothesis only]
