Tammen Jenssen Family Tree.ged Ready for Review [4 July 2009]

Welcome to WeRelate! WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded your GEDCOM, your next step is to preview what your pages will look like and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. When you have finished your review, your GEDCOM will be imported. Click here to review your GEDCOM.

Joseph Cummens 1.ged [9 July 2009]

I am releasing your gedcom. Thank you for your contribution to WeRelate. I noticed that there appear to be duplicate people in your file. We strive to have a single page for each person and each family. Please review your duplicate list (MyRelate, Show Duplicates) and merge any who in fact are duplicates. The duplicate list will not be updated until tomorrow at earliest. You can leave me a message here if you need assistance. Thanks! --Judy (jlanoux) 11:14, 9 July 2009 (EDT)

Merging Duplicates in your GEDCOM [14 October 2009]

Welcome, M. Cummens! Glad to see you here, and thanks for contributing your GEDCOM. I am a volunteer administrator here, and one of my primary tasks is merging duplicate pages. Our goals is to have one page per person and per family by the end of the year. Your GEDCOM appears to have some internal duplications. You can help us achieve our goal while at the same time cleaning up your own work by de-duping your own pages. You can do this by logging in, then selecting "Show duplicates" from the "My Relate" menu. Please feel free to ask for help if you need it. Thanks! Jillaine 10:05, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
