Error importing deadwerelatecleaned.ged [29 May 2008]

We had an error while attempting to import your GEDCOM. This is most likely our fault. We will review the error and should have your pages ready tomorrow (or Monday if tomorrow falls on a weekend). There is no need to re-import your GEDCOM file.

For questions or problems, leave a message for Dallan or send an email to dallan@WeRelate.org.

I deleted it because my notes showed up and I thought I had not imported them into the gedcom. I will check next time before I upload sorry for the goof. joe--Jmp 15:03, 29 May 2008 (EDT)

Your new upload

Hi, I wanted to let you know that you got in the queue right behind a very large GEDCOM that's going to take 6-10 hours to finish. Please be patient; your GEDCOM should be ready first thing tomorrow.--Dallan 17:24, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

no-sour-no-notes.ged appears to overlap a previously-imported GEDCOM [2 June 2008]

The pages from this GEDCOM have not yet been generated because they appear to match pages from a GEDCOM you have previously imported to WeRelate.

If you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM and you want to replace that tree with this GEDCOM, you need to delete that tree first so duplicates aren't created when you import this GEDCOM. Go to the Family Tree page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the "delete" link next to that tree. Please be aware that any pages in that tree that are being watched by others won't get deleted. Once that tree is deleted you can create a new tree and re-upload this GEDCOM into it. (We're planning to make re-uploading GEDCOM files much simpler later this Fall.)

If you don't think you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM, or if the two GEDCOM's don't overlap that much, leave a message for Dallan or send an email to dallan@WeRelate.org and we'll go ahead with the import.

Place Tucson [17 June 2008]

Hi Jmp,

There is already a page for Tucson. Check Place:Tucson, Pima, Arizona, United States. Would you redirect your new page Place:Tucson, Arizona, United States to the first one? Thanks. --Beth 13:45, 17 June 2008 (EDT)

McEnery Family [2 July 2008]

At one time I corresponded with Dr. John McEnery of Chicago. Although he connected several of the McEnery branches, we were never able to connect them to the Belleville, New Jersey; Erie, Pennsylvania; or Bronx, New York, McEnerys, all of whom are related. I have a lot of information on the Chicago McEnerys. If I find I have some information you do not have, I will add it.--Acurley 09:55, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

Thanks, I did see you post this before but am still getting up to speed on how this site works.--Jmp 16:32, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

Plane pic [11 July 2008]

Hello... I came across one of your pages a couple of weeks ago where you had two halves of a picture uploaded and mentioned that you would like someone to "stitch" them together if they could. It was a picture of some men in front of a plane. I do not remember exactly where I saw this (would have to do a search), but anyway, I tinkered around with the image some and kinda stitched them together. If you would be interested in viewing it, I can send it to you privately. Or, if that's not acceptable, perhaps I can upload it here and hopefully it will be to your liking. --Ronni 01:21, 11 July 2008 (EDT)

I would prefer you just upload it here. My copy would not all fit on scanner at one time and the digital photo I made was not as good. TIA--Jmp 13:51, 11 July 2008 (EDT)

I'll upload it here and title it "ThatWeMightLive.jpg". Because it wasn't true halves of the picture, true stitching couldn't be done and thus the extreme top of the plane had to be cut off. I hope your pleased though. If you chose not to use it or don't find it true to the original, I will completely understand. Just let me know and I'll delete it for you. --Ronni 16:33, 11 July 2008 (EDT)

Didn't know what to pick for the copyright license on the image. --Ronni 16:37, 11 July 2008 (EDT)

Thomas McEnery [2 March 2015]

Hi, are you still active here? I am wondering what you might know about Thomas McEnery who married Mary (O)Hanlon. Supposedly they met in Erie. Does this make a connection to the Erie McEnery's? I am not sure how he is related to them, and he only lived there a couple of years. There are Mauns in Monagay, Co. Limerick, where the Erie, NJ, and Bronx NY McEnerys originate.--Acurley 00:57, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

Still get emails about changes, mostly working on Family Search. Busy right now but will try and remember to check and get back to you. joe--Jmp 17:01, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. It would be interesting to be able to connnect the Chicago McEnerys and the Erie McEnerys. I spent three months in Ireland in the Fall and met a number of McEnery relatives. I am still trying to sort out all of my notes, etc.--Acurley 01:39, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

Our DNA connection [15 December 2019]

On Ancestry.com. I have a DNA match with a "G.E." whose test is connected to the "Enderle Family Tree" and is managed by a John Enderle. The tree is a bit mixed up, but at least there is now a DNA connection between my McEnerys (New Jersey, Bronx NY, and Erie, Pennsylvania) and the Chicago McEnerys.--Acurley 22:42, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
