Contact Admins [18 September 2007]

Hi, I noticed you had tried to contact Dallan but with the wrong email address if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to leave a message for Dallan or myself. Just click on my signature link as select "leave a message." The site has been in production for about 2.5 years and online in beta for about 1.5 years. Its pretty impressive so far. WeRelate is already the largest genealogical wiki in the world. I hope you enjoy using it.--sq 14:31, 18 September 2007 (EDT)

Regarding Jeremiah Cloud [8 June 2009]

I unmerged the two pages that combined the two separate families, Sr. and Jr. so if you remerged them you have combined them again. Someone merged the 2 pages together, not me. Jeremiah Cloud and wife Elizabeth Bailey and Jeremiah Cloud and wife Ann Bailey were on the same page and I unmerged them. I am not confused about the two Jeremiah's. --Beth 15:24, 8 June 2009 (EDT)

Beth

Great! I also un-merged them!

Thank you!--JFBailey 15:37, 8 June 2009 (EDT)

Best source for Cloud information [8 June 2009]

Hi J F,

I am Cloud descendant also but have not been able to establish a definite link between my known ancestor Joseph Sebastian Cloud and his father Austin Cloud. You will find more accurate information on this Cloud Site site] than on the Ancestry world tree. --Beth 16:47, 8 June 2009 (EDT)

IsaacBayleySarahTitcomb.GED appears to overlap a previously-imported GEDCOM [8 July 2010]

The pages from this GEDCOM have not yet been generated because they appear to match pages from a GEDCOM you have previously imported to WeRelate.

If you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM and you want to replace that tree with this GEDCOM, you need to delete that tree first so duplicates aren't created when you import this GEDCOM. Click on Trees in the "My Relate" menu, then click on the "delete" link next to that tree. Please be aware that any pages in the tree that are being watched by others won't get deleted. Once that tree is deleted you can create a new tree and re-upload this GEDCOM into it. (We're planning to make re-uploading GEDCOM files much simpler soon.)

If you don't think you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM, or if the two GEDCOM's don't overlap that much, leave a message for Dallan or send an email to dallan@WeRelate.org and we'll go ahead with the import.

Next step: Review your GEDCOM [11 July 2010]

You're not done yet!

WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded IsaacBayleySarahTitcomb.GED, your next step is to review what your pages will look like, review any potential warnings, and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. You need to review your GEDCOM before it can finish importing.

Note: if your gedcom contains many errors or multiple families, we’d ask that you resolve and correct the errors, delete this gedcom and re-submit it without the errors before merging it with families already on WeRelate. If the gedcom is very large, we’d suggest breaking it up into separate lines and importing them one at a time, which makes the review and correction process easier.

Click here to review your GEDCOM

Once you have finished your review and marked your GEDCOM Ready to import, one of our administrators will review your GEDCOM and finalize the import. This usually happens within 24 hours. You will receive a message here when the pages have been created.

Maria Catharina Simon (27NOV1775, PA - 28DEC1841, OH) [13 September 2010]

You show this daughter of (Johann) Michael Simon and Anna Ottilia Schmelzer under the erroneous name "Anna Maria." You correctly show her sister Anna Maria with the appropriate birth and death dates. Doubtless a typo, but I thought you'd want to know.--Steptyner 15:51, 13 September 2010 (EDT)

Thomas Bayly & John Bayley [27 November 2010]

It strikes me that John Bayley Sr. was more likely a son of Thomas Bayly and Ann Woolfrey, rather than of Jane Chitts. When he was born in 1590, Jane Chitts would have been only 6 years old. I also wonder whether "Chitts" is a misnomer, as Chitto/Chittoe was/is a part of Bromham. Perhaps she was Jane from Chittoe.--Brucebwarden 22:32, 26 November 2010 (EST)

Charles Chamberlin [24 June 2013]

I see that you erased the information for Charles, husband of May Churchill. I see no explanation or correcting information. Do you have a source that states that the information was inaccurate. In that case you should have offered the corrections as alternate birth or death dates, and left a note on the Talk Page instead of totally eliminating the Person Page. --Neal Gardner 14:28, 24 June 2013 (EDT)

Edward Oatley & wife [24 June 2013]

Again, can you give an explanation for the removal of Edward Oatley & Hannah Bailey as parents of Esther Oatley ?--Neal Gardner 14:40, 24 June 2013 (EDT)

Albert Peterson & Ellen Taylor [24 June 2013]

And also, you've totally deleted the children for Albert & Ellen (Taylor) Peterson without ANY explanation. On what basis ? World Tree ? If so, this is a secondary reference at best. I don't delete your work; please have the courtesy to bring deletions up for discussion. --Neal Gardner 14:57, 24 June 2013 (EDT)

Susannah Passmore's parents [24 June 2013]

OK, are the parents of Susannah Passmore incorrect ? Reference ? Correct parents known ? No explanation given. If no reasoning, please restore Susannah's parents.--Neal Gardner 15:15, 24 June 2013 (EDT)
