Hello and welcome to WeRelate. I have reviewed your file. Thank you for handling it so promptly. There are a few items we would ask that you take care of before the file is uploaded. The warning tab shows a few errors - maybe typos. We know there are early babies, but the 12 yr old mother looks like an error. Also many of your sources include people's email and addresses. These are not appropriate for a public site. You can edit any page from within the gedcom review in the bottom tab. There is an edit link. I see that you have fixed the indicated problems. Thank you for the prompt attention. In a final review before import, I have noticed that you have a number of one-person families. We usually exclude these as Family pages are used to connect relationships and you have no connections indicated. But in reading the pages, I see that they probably should be connected. Your software apparently didn't include both spouses in a family record. Because these will be lost forever after import, I'm returning the file one more time so you can make note of them. The relationships can't be fixed until after import, but you probably want to make a copy of the one spouse families to create a work list for after import. After you grab them, click the Ready button again and I'll get it imported for you as soon as I see it. Thank you for your patience. Hi, yes I had fixed the indicated problems. Such an import and review brings light to data I had imported with less scrutiny several years ago, and upon reconnecting with my original sources, I find their revisions. However, I still am unhappy with some of it, so I will be working on it myself after getting this import done. Regarding the sources earlier, I didn't realize the MySources would be immediately viewable by others, so the concerns you mentioned did not occur to me. Moreover, I took the "This step is optional" comment at the very top of the sources import process at its word. Perhaps this needs to be changed to indicate the impact of deferring scrutiny of one's sources when they contain personal referential information. There are clearly many impacts related to policies here and the idiosyncracies of the data format that I am not yet accustomed to. Also, I use The Master Genealogist, and while it accommodates custom GEDCOM exports, I won't say it makes them easy.

As you have suggested, I have made note of the families.

Thanks. Your file is importing now. As a long-time Master Genealogist user, I understand that gedcom involves work. I will note that I sometimes take 4 or 5 attempts before I get the file just right for import. You can fix your original and remove your gedcom to reimport if you wish. Web pages are created for each Person, Family and Source so these tabs should be reviewed carefully. Places are automatically matched so these should be reviewed for accuracy. While reviewing, I noticed that you have some people at the top of the person tab where it appears that the surnames didn't get into the correct field. This makes them have two given and no surnames and they won't search properly. I returned it to user review so you can check and fix if necessary.
