1695, perhaps rem. SAMUEL, Weymouth, br. of the preced. by w.
Mary had Mary, b. 28 Nov. 1698, and perhaps others. THOMAS, Boston,
s. of William, prob. eldest, had serv. as a soldier, in Philip's war, of
Turner's comp. at Hadley 1676, but liv. at B. 1678, and was freem.
1680 or 1, enjoy. the advantage of being count. as of the first ch. in the
former yr. and of the sec. ch. next yr. See Geneal. Reg. III. 245 and 6.
WILLIAM, Weymouth, freem. 1654, had first w. Grace, wh. d. at W. 22
Jan. 1656; and he m. 27 Nov. 1656, Elizabeth d. of Matthew Pratt, had
Thomas, b. 27 or 29 Sept. 1657; Caleb, 19 Oct. 1660; Mary, 8 Apr.
1663; Samuel, 1 Oct. 1666; Joanna, 17 Aug. 1667; Patience, 21 Apr.
1671; and Hugh, 4 Jan. 1675. Perhaps he rem. to Boston.

    CHARLES, JOHN, Charlestown 1636, rem. to New Haven, there had
Sarah, b. Oct. 1637, bapt. Oct. 1640; and John, bapt. 20 May 1649; rem.
to Branford, was there join. in the compact of sett. 1667, and d. 1673.
Other ch. are ment. as Mary, wh. m. 16 May 1651, Martin Tichenor; one
d. w. of Jonathan Rose; ano. w. of John Peate; and Sarah m. William Backus.
JOHN, New Haven, s. perhaps of the preced. wh. d. 1705, by w. Hannah
had Hannah, John and Abraham. WILLIAM, Salem 1637, liv. on Marblehead
side in 1648, and in 1672 was call. 77 yrs. old. In 1647, Sarah, perhaps his
w. perhaps d. unit. with the ch. His will of 31 Dec. 1672, pro. June foll.
name. w. Sarah extrix. no ch. but gives to cous. Robert C. to cous. James
Dennis�s ch. Mary, and James, wh. I suppose were of his w. cous. Mary D.
His wid. d. 21 Dec. 1676.

    CHARLETT, NICHOLAS, Boston 1642, in the employm. of John Mylam,
freem. 1645, when the Col. Rec. gives his name Chelett; by w. Catharine
had Elizabeth b. 15, bapt. 20 July 1645, d. in two mos.; and Mary.
In July 1646 he was excomn. and prob. d. in few yrs. His wid. m. Richard
Haughton of New London, bore him sev. ch. and d. 9 Aug. 1670.

    CHASE, AQUILA, Hampton 1640, a mariner from Cornwall, Eng. m.
Ann, d. of John Wheeler, had Sarah, and rem. a. 1646, to Newbury,
here had Ann, b. 6 July 1647; Priscilla, 14 Mar. 1649; Mary, 3 Feb.
1651; Aquila, 26 Sept. 1652; Thomas, 25 July 1654; John, 2 Nov.
1655; Elizabeth 13 Sept. 1657; Ruth, 18 Mar. 1660; Daniel, 9 Dec. 1661;
and Moses, 24 Dec. 1663; and d. 29 Aug. 1670, aged 52. His wid. m.
14 June 1672, Daniel Mussiloway, and d. 21 Apr. 1687; Sarah m. 15
May 1666, Charles Annis; Ann m. 27 Apr. 1671, Thomas Barber;
Priscilla m. 10 Feb. 1671, Abel Merrill; Mary m. 9 Mar. 1670, John
Stevens
; Elizabeth m. 27 June 1678, at Andover, Zechariah Ayers; and
Ruth d. unm. at 17 yrs. AQUILA, Newbury, eldest s. of the preced. m.
