freem. 1678, by w. Esther, wh. d. 1689, had John. b. 6 Nov. 1681, H. C. 1700 (a min.
of much distinct. ord. 18 July 1716, d. 24 Jan. 1770, for whose very interest. autobiogr.
the curious reader will turn to 3 Mass. Hist. Coll. V. 178); and by
sec. w. had William, 30 Aug. 1691; Jonathan, 15 Jan. 1693; and Matthew,
17 June 1694; and d. Dec. 1732. His wid. liv. to 94th yr. 31 Jan.
1758. JOHN, Watertown, s. of the sec. John of the same, m. 5 Mar. 1683,
Sarah, d. of Richard Cutting, had only Elizabeth b. 29 Oct. 1684, by her; and
he m. 17 Nov. 1692, Elizabeth d. of John Stone of the same, had Sarah, b. 25
Jan. 1694; and this w. d. 6 May foll. and 23 July next he m. Mary, d.
of Joseph Morse the sec. of the same, bad John, 27 June 1695; Mary, 1
Apr. 1697; Fleming, 19 Apr. 1699; Joseph, 21 May 1700; Jonathan,
20 May 1703; Lydia, 2 May 1705; and Grace, 31 Mar. 1707. His
will of 12 Aug. 1727, was pro. 27 Mar. 1732, as Bond tells. JOSEPH
Kittery 1670, was br. og Benjamin. JOSEPH, Northampton, s. of
Francis, m. 13 July 1675, unless more prob. date be 19 Dec. or
13 Jan. after (as ea. of the three is giv.), Sarah, d. of Elder John Strong,
rem. to Deerfield, had John b. 1676, Joseph, Thomas, Samuel, Ebenezer,
Sarah, Rebecca, Hannah, Abigail, and Thankful, but no dates are
kn. of their b. He was mort. wound. by the Ind. 18 Aug. and d. 6 Sept.
1695. JOSEPH, Springfield, s. of Richard of the same, a shopkeep. d. 3 Dec.
1728 leav. ch. Elizabeth Mary, Sarah, and Joseph. MASSACHIEL, Weymouth,
had Mary, b. 27 Sept. 1637; and Sarah, 5 Apr. 1639; but of him I hear
no more. MATTHEW, Boston, carpenter, s. of Bartholomew, b. in Eng.
ar. co. 1660, freem. 1673, was a lieut. and d. 9 May 1679, aged 54; by
first w. Sarah, wh. d. 31 Aug. 1659, had John, b. 29 Sept. 1654; Thomas,
14 Apr. 1657; and by sec. w. Alice, wh. d. 1663, had Benjamin 6 Jan.
