| Know ye that in conformity with a survey made on the fourth day of March 1854 by virtue of Land Office Treasury Warrant No 103_ and 12629 there is granted by the Commonweath unto Isaac Willisa certain tract or parcelcontaining 275 acres lying in Lee County on the waters of the SOuth Fork of Powell River and bounded as following:
- Beginning at two spruce pines near a land corner to said Willis's land with his ____
- N 115 W38 poles to a white oak and ___line
- N 1 W 14 poles crossing a branch to a spruce pine on a steep hill side
- N 28 W38 poles to a cucumber and poplar in the head of a hollow on the Colwell line and with the same
- N 45 E 220 poles to 2 beeches and a white oak near a Laurel branch
- S 39 E 100 poles, leaving said line and crossing said rise to a large water oak, 2 sugar trees and a small Chesnut on a spur,
- N 2 W 88 poles to two chestnuts and a maple on a spur of Powell Mountain
- S 35 W 120 poles ___tract a chestnut and Lynn on the side of a ridge
- S 84 W 160 poles crossing said ____ to two chestnusts & Cucumber on the East Ridge corner to Zachariah W(i?)llis' land and on a line of said Willis's land north the same
