Obituary

WILLIAM ELMER, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Savidge, died April 16, 1887, at his home in Spencer township, Allen county, Ohio, aged 18 years, 8 months and 25 days. Young William was a bright young man and well thought of by all who knew him. He was born at Upper Sandusky, Wyandot county, Ohio, July 21st, 1868, and moved to this township [Spencer] with his parents several years ago. His disease was measles. Rev. J. W. Holland preached the funeral sermon last Monday, at West Union. The family have the sympathy of a host of friends and neighbors in their sad bereavement.
