William H Osborne was born in either Monroe County or Kings County (depending on which census entry you believe) in New York in 1855 -1857. He married Mary Ann Elizabeth (Willard) Hider in 1877 or 1878 in Monroe County based upon the birth of their first child. By 1880 they were living in Bay City, Michigan.
