Origins

A William cope, age 26 and Richar Cope age 24 were on bark Blessing 1635. It has been thought possible that this was William Copop, but seems the passenger was too young. Also stated that he had two wives, but no evidence found. {Holman p 703f]

In Boston before 4 July 1640 when he was admitted to the church,. Wife Judith admitted 24 Jan 1640/41.

Will probated 31 Oct 1662. ?? Conflicts with death date in Holman. To wife Goodeth house they live in.
