According to "Irvin/Moyer Genealogy", Dr. William Klark Blount married Mary F. Utterback and had 3 children: Mattie L. K., Miranda; and Minnie R According to an IGI record, their daughter Marinda was born 1881 in Bath Co and died 1898.

"W. K. Blunt, oldest son of John R. Blunt, was born August 22, 1852... received a diploma at the Medical College, Louisville Ky.  October 12, 1876 he married Miss Mollie Utterback, of Bath County, Ky., daughter of George and Mary Utterback. Three children blessed this union, viz: Minnie R., Marinda and Mattie L. K. He located at Moorefield, Nicholas Co., Kentucky, and practiced medicine until his death which took place on the 23rd of August 1884. " {'Kentucky: A History of the State', William Henry Perrin, J.  According to IGI records, Minnie was born in 1878 and married Morris Evans in 1899.
 In the 1880 census for Mount Sterling, Montgomery Co., Kentucky, John R. Blunt is a farmer age 53 from Kentucky (parents Kentucky). His wife Louisa is 52 from Kentucky (father Maryland, mother Kentucky).  Their sons are Fransis H., 25, laborer; John H., 17, 'at home'; William K. Blunt, 27, 'commercial sales man'; daughter-in-law Mary F., age 21 from Kentucky; and granddaughter Minnie R., age 1.  {p.467a, NARA T9-0435}
