State of Mississippi
Carroll County
In the name of God Amen. I William Y. Beeler of Carroll County and State of Mississippi do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following (Viz)
1st my funeral and Testamentary expenses including those of my last illness are first and promptly to be paid and then any other just debts. All provision on hand at the time of my decease are to be comumed? by use by my family without being carried? into inventory or account by my Executor.
I give and devise my wife Elizabeth B. Beeler for and during her natural life my plantation in said County of Carroll containing 100 acres and described as follows the Tk2? of EYx S22 T19 Range 6 East also one slave a woman named Caroline about fourteen years old with her future increase also all the household and kitchen furniture and plantation stock vehicles and utensils but this devise and bequest are subject to the condition that my wife shall constantly permit who are in minority to remain with her in the family receiving suitable board and clothing until each shall attain to the age of twenty one or marry. At the decease of my said wife Elizabeth B. then and thereupon the realty and personality in the this item devisees and bequeathed to her for life are to belong to my said children as joint and equal owners of the said slave then to be in being and the increase, and what may remain of the other personality not consumed by use or otherwise lost with the increase.
My Executor is if practisable? to keep the property aforesaid together and on said plantation and to be inpologed? and now to the best advantage for the constand and comfortable support of my said wife and for the support and education of my said children that is unless rendered unavoidable in order to the payment of any debts they are not to withdraw any of the personalty embraced by this item but permit my said wife as owner for life to use manage ejoy [enjoy] and control the same as to her may seem best for herself and said children. My said wife Elizabeth B. with the devise and consent of my Executor may at any time after my decease if they shall think it so she interest of then and the said children dispose of the above named plantation of 100 acres Land which proceeds to be applied to the purchase of another plantation which they may think more suitable or convenient which shall stand in the same relation as the above devised and bequeathed.
And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint William R. Fisackerly Executor of this my last will and Testament.

M.L. Beeler one of the subscribing witnesses to the last will and Testament of W.Y. Beeler having been duly sworn deposed and said that he saw W.Y. Beeler the testator sign and seal & publish the foregoing instrument purporting to be his last will & testament & as and for the same that he subscribed in the presence and at the request of the said Testator and also in the presence of other subscribing witnesses~ Also that the Testator was of sound & disposing mind and memory at that time.
