Jackson 1912-2005 Warren Pedrick Jackson, 93, died March 14 at United Medical Center-West in Cheyenne. Mr. Jackson was born March 3, 1912, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Lacy Grant "Al" and Susie (Pedrick) Jackson. The family moved to Iowa Flats near Chugwater when he was three months old. He was reared and educated at Iowa Flats, graduating from Iowa Center High School. He was a rancher and farmer his entire life. Mr. Jackson married Ruth N. Young on June 17, 1938, in Cheyenne. He was a member of the Chugwater United Methodist Church, member and past master of Chugwater Masonic Lodge A.M. & F.M. No. 25, member and past president of Goshen County Stock Growers, member of Iowa Center Grange, and served on both Iowa Center and Chugwater school boards. He is survived by four children, Virgil Jackson and Dan Jackson of Chugwater, Gary Jackson of Minnetonka, Minn., and Donna Short of Gresham, Oregon; two sisters, Roberta Rhoades of Chugwater and Carol Haydon of La Verne, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth, on May 31, 2004; brother, Paul Jackson; and a sister, Maureen Enix. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Gorman Funeral Homes-Platte Chapel of Wheatland. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Chugwater United Methodist Church in Chugwater with Pastor Skip Perry officiating. Interment will be in the Chugwater Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Short, Quentin Jackson, Craig Jackson, Derek Jackson, Kurt Braisted, and Cary Uhrich. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerrene Braisted, Roxanne Uhrich, Karly Jackson, Megan Jackson, and Hailey Short. Friends may contribute to Goshen County Stock Growers, in care of Charlotte Steben, 5852 Road 53, Torrington, WY 82240 or Chugwater FFA Chapter, 406 - 5th Street, Chugwater, WY 82210.
