ALT date of birth: 27 Oct 1909.

Notes contributed by son: Health: Parents (Grant & Susie Jackson) came to Wyoming for her health when she was about 3 years old as the damp weather in Iowa was doing a number on her (per Roberta). As a youth and young adult, she was very industrious and hard working. Designed quilts and hand work. Very artistic with sewing. Several of the items she designed and made were handed down to Virginia, as the only daughter.

Cause of death: Third degree burns from an accidental household fire. Residence at time of death: Chugwater, Wyoming. Burial is in the Chug/Iowa Center Flats Cemetery, approximately 5 miles east of Chugwater, Wyoming. Dad picked a moss covered head stone from the mountains west of Wheatland for her headstone. From that I surmised that their living on the ranch, west of Wheatland, must have been happy times.
