Facts and Events
Walter Sweeney was born in 1889 at Kells in Kirkcudbrightshire, son of Annie Sweeney, formerly Murphy, and her husband Luke Sweeney, an agricultural labourer. Walter appears in the 1891 census living with his parents and siblings at Achie Cothouse in Kells, on the edge of the town of New Galloway. By the mid 1890s the family had moved to Balmaclellan, where they appear in the 1901 census.
Walter has yet to be researched after 1901.
