    Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Steele Church of Christ for Mrs. Jennie Frakes, who passed away at her home in Pasadena, Texas, Aug. 23. Bronchial asthma and heart trouble is said to have caused her death. Mrs. Frakes made her home here with her family until three months ago, when she moved to Pasadena.

    She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Frakes, of Pasadena, two sons. R. C. of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Arvie Glenn in service, two daughters, Mrs. Bethel Ledford of Pasadena and Marilyn Jean also of Pasadena. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Bessie Dupeck of Steele and one step-brother, F. G. Gibson of Shreveport, La.

    Pallbearers were Charlie Wilson, E. A. Boone, Gordon Southern, Porter Harris, Dr. McDaniel and Willie Barnes.

    Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
