    Arvie Glenn Frakes, 65, of Pensacola, Fla., died Wednesday evening, July 11, 1990, in a Pensacola hospital.

    Son of Bob and Jennie Frakes, he was a native of Steele, Mo.

    Mr. Frakes had lived in Pensacola for many years. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired carpenter.

    Mr. Frakes leaves his wife, Mrs. Ava Frakes; two sons: Harry Hardwick Dewberry and Joseph Michael Dewberry; two daughters: Martha Will West and Dorothy Codelle Leo; one sister, Marilyn Quinn, of Caruthersville, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. R. C. Frakes, of Caruthersville; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

    Funeral services were held Monday, July 16, 1990, in the chapel of Faith Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Sanders officiating.

    A military service was conducted at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola.
