Val Olinger

STRAWBERRY POINT -- Services for Val Olinger, 65, who died at Oakland, Calif., last Saturday, will be 10:30 am Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church; burial in Strawberry Point Cemetery; survived by three brothers, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Olinger of New Hampton, Glenn of Earlville and Paul of Strawberry Point. Robertson Funeral Home is in charge. Visitation Saturday morning.

Valmah Olinger

STRAWBERRY POINT: Services were held for Valmah "Val" Olinger, 65, formery of Strawberry Point, Saturday, April 26, 1975, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Strawberry Point. Mass was celebrate by Msgr. J.J. Olinger.

Val Olinger died April 19, at Oakland, California. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Olinger, two sisters, and five brothers.

Surviving are his wife, Marge, Oakland, Calif.; three brothes, Msgr. J.J. Olinger, New Hampton, Glenn of Earlville, and Paul of Strawberry Point.

Pallbearers were Marcus O'Brien, John O'Brien, Francis Farmer, Edward Farmer, James Olinger, and Walter Zwanziger. Burial was in the Strawberry Point Cemetery with Legion Post 218 having graveside services.
