Tressie M. Laycock, age 85, went Home to be with her Lord on May 15, 2011. A celebration of her Home going was held at 11:45 Wednesday May 18, 2011 at First Baptist Madison in the chapel.

Tressie was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, February 17, 1926 to Paul and Lois Richey, but grew up in Texas. She then moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida when she married. Recently she had moved to Madison, Mississippi to be close to her children. Tressie was a "people" person. She was committed to her Lord's work as far back as her family can remember.

Tressie was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur James Laycock in 2008. Her daughter, Brenda, passed away Feb 18, 2012.

Survivors include a daughter, three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a niece and several nephews.

Heaven is richer for her presence.
