Vol. 78, folio 10 reverse 2 Mar 1749 [23rd year of King George, so 1749/50]: Thomas Henshaw of Boston Blacksmith [and Elizabeth his wife] mortgages to Joshua Henshaw of Boston Esquire as collateral for debt of £200 a dwelling house in Boston on Essex Street.
Vol. 88, folio 153 reverse Endorsed on above mortgage: 14 Apr 1756: Joshua Henshaw for £36 does transfer mortgage and bond to Duncan Ingraham of Boston Mariner. 28 May 1773: Duncan Ingraham acknowledged he had received full satisfation and quitclaim all right.
Vol. 78, folio 65 reverse: 12 Apr 1750: Indenture between Thomas Henshaw of Boston Blacksmith [and Elizabeth his wife] and Joshua Henshaw of Boston Esquire that whereas Thomas is indebted to Joshua £13=6=8 by bond with penatly £27 mortgages as collateral a house in Boston on Essex street subject only to one mortgage to Joshua.

Vol. 79, folio 228 reverse 17 Apr 1751: Indenture between Thomas Henshaw of Boston Blacksmith [with Elizabeth his wife] and Elisha Browne of Cambridge Victualler where Thomas is indebted to Elisha for £26=13=4 by bond with a penalty of £53=6=8 mortgages a house in Boston on Essex Street subject to two deeds of mortgage. 18 Jan 1753: Elisha Brown acknowledged he had received full satisfction and discharged the mortgage.
Vol. 84, folio 187 8 Aug 1752: Indenture between Elizabeth Henshaw of Boston Widow sole Executrix of will of Thomas Henshaw late of Boston Blacksmith deceased and Francis Ingraham of Boston Marriner whereas Elizabeth must pay debts of £155=8=5, for £126=6=8 paid by Francis Ingraham conveys a house in Boston on Essex Street subject to mortgages to Joshua Henshaw and to Elisha Brown which Francis will take on.
