- ↑ Thomas' probate shows he had a wife and four children when he died in 1751. His children were names Thomas, James, Elizabeth and Katharine. No record of the marriage or the births or baptisms of his children has been found. Presumably he married after he became of legal age in 1736. Since the list of children appears to be in gender order, it is not even possible to know the birth order with certainty, not to mention children that might not have survived. It is possible Katharine m. 1760 William Goster and then in 1769 John Clark, but this is only based on name matching without any evidence. No further has been discovered yet. More research is needed.
