Facts and Events
He may be the Thomas Curley who was a registered voter living at 13 Tyrone Place, Goldenbridge, New Kilmainham ward of Dublin in 1908 [findmypast.com]. While fishing in the Grand Canal near Kilmainham on June 28, 1917, Thomas saw the body of an 11-year-old boy named Frank Sutton, who had drowned. The newspaper account states that he " tried to hook him with the line, but failed. He then got a life-buoy, but found that the deceased had disappeared." [3] References
