From newspaper clipping in Reunion book (1958) Terry W. King, Sr. BLOOMINGDALE, Dec. 22 Terry Wallace King, Sr., 76, a retired Bloomingdale farmer, died Saturday morning at his home. He was born May 28, 1882, in Lee township, the son of Joseph and Charlotte King, and had spent his entire life in the Bloomingdale area. Mr. King is survived by two sons, Levi of Kalamazoo, and Terry Jr. at home; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Christi, Mrs. Charlotte Rasmussen of Fenville, and Mrs. Doris Muser of Kalamazoo; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Lola Dill of Kalamazoo, and Mrs. Sadie Baker of Hickory Corners. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Christian church, with the Rev. Martin Stevens, pastor of the Bloomingdale Bible church, officiating. Burial will be in the Thompson cemetery in Columbia township. Friends may call at the Robbins funeral home in Bloomingdale, until noon Tuesday, at which time the body will be taken to the church.
