Facts and Events
Richard may have been John's son, rather than Benjamin. Another possible marriage: Anne Nelson says it was Richard D King Mary A Misel Van Buren 02 Jan 1886 Mary was born abt. 1869, Cass, Michigan The Directory of Van Buren County, 1916-1921 has an entry for Richard D. King, wife Charlotte R., 5 children, farmer O 80 acres, 2 horses and 5 cows (I think), residing in Berlamont. He had a telephone. The other entry is for Richard D. King, wife Lottie, 5 children, farmer O 80 acres, 2 horses and 2 cows, residing in Bloomingdale. He also had a telephone. From Kathy Baker Andrews I have wondered who Richard was because he is buried next to Joseph & Charlotte King, but I did not know how he fit in the family... I have attached the following scans in this e-mail and one other (can only send a max of three at a time so I sent two and two): Terry Wallace King 1882 - 1958 (son of Joseph Pollard & Charlotte) Jessie Eleanor (Baker) King 1888 - 1957 (wife of Terry Wallace) Edith & Edward King 1919 (infant twins of Terry & Jessie) Joseph Pollard King 1848 - 1911 Charlotte Rubena (Thorpe) King 1865 - 1934 Bessie E. King 1892 (infant daughter of Joseph & Charlotte) Richard D. King 1850 - 1937 They are all buried at Thompson cemetery in Columbia Twp., Van Buren county, Michigan. References
