    BAKER, Mrs. Sadie M.,
    Formerly 411 E. Walnut -
    Passed away Thursday afternoon, Sept. 22, 1977. Mrs. Baker was born July 1, 1900, in Burlamont, Mich., daughter of Joseph and Charlotte King and was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. She attended the Temple Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement, did domestic work for families in Kalamazoo and Gull Lake area. Surviving are 6 grandchildren, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Leslie of Kalamazoo, Frederick Baker of New York, Mrs. Ronald (Mona) Smith of Cooper, Mrs. Gordon (Sarah) Nelson of Comstock, Mrs. David (Mary) Worden of Richland, William Baker Jr., Sioux Falls, S.D.; 20 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mrs. Theresa King of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Monday at 2 o'clock at the Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, with Pastor Roy Finchum officiating. Interment in Augusta Cemetery.
