Susannah and William Lee lived in Hancock County, Kentucky where William was a farmer. William moved to Kentucky from Burkley County, Virginia. This record is found in the Hancock County Court Clerk's Office in Hawesville, KY:

"This day, William L. Lamar of the said County of Hancock and Commonwealth of Kentucky, aforesaid, personally appeared before the undersigned, James E. Stone, Clerk of the County Court for Hancock County, and being duly sworn states: that on the 22nd day of March, 1852, he brought into the said County of Hancock and Commmonwealth of Kentucky, a negro man slave, named John Quincy, about 22 or 23 years of age, of black complexion, with a scar in the lower part of his forehead between his eyes supposed to have been caused by a wound; that he had been the owner of said slave for about 10 years in the State of Virginia by gift from his father, William Lamar of Buckley County in said State of Virginia; that said slave has been hired out in said state for several years past, and that about the 12th day of March 1852, he started from said County of Buckley, Virginia, with said slave and brought him to the said County of Hancock in said State of Kentucky, on the said 22nd day of March 1852, as aforesaid; that the said slave was brought into theis state by him for his private use alone; and that the slave was not purchased or obtained by him for speculation to be sold for profit or as merchandise.

William Lee Lamar died February 2, 1859 when he was only 45 years old. He was buried in the Lamar Cemetery at Martindale with his children: Laurella, Russell and William H.

Susannah went to live with her grandson, Wade Napier in New Albany, Indiana after her husband died in 1859. Later she went to live with her son, Robert Hamilton.

Susannah died at the home of her son, Robert Hamilton "Ham" Faulconer, in New Albany, Indiana. Susannah had requested that her body be taken back to Hancock County by boat for her burial. She was buried near her daughter, Louise Faulconer's grave site.

Susannah was appointed administratrix of William Lee Lamar's estate 2-14-1859. Her witnesses were marine Tyler Lamar, William L. Lamar, William P. Lamar and Benoni S. Lamar.

Susannah Ann took care of her father, Maureen Tyler Lamar after the death of her mother, Rebecca Rice on June 11, 1876 until he died on Nov.20, 1888.

She and her husband Robert Faulconer lived on a farm near Utility in Hancock County until his death. She then moved to New Albany, IN to live with her grandson, Wade apier who was the son of her daughter Martha Napier. Later she went to live with her son, Robert Hamilton "Ham: Faulconer in New Albany, IN.
