Stephen Keyte was baptised on 24th June 1798 at Broadway in Worcestershire, son of Elizabeth Miles formerly Rastall and her husband Stephen Miles.

Stephen appears in the 1841 census living on the High Street in Broadway with a Caroline and Mary Miles - presumably his wife and daughter - and Stephen's nephew Richard Keyte. Stephen was working as a slater, with his nephew Richard working as junior slater. Stephen's parents were living next door.

Stephen appears to have died in 1866, aged 67.
