John Miles was baptised on 26th June 1808 at the Indpenendent Chapel at Broadway in Worcestershire, son of Elizabeth Miles, formerly Rastall, and her husband, Stephen Miles, a slater and plasterer. He was said to be about a month old when he was baptised.

John has yet to be traced after his baptism.
