m. 5 Nov 1694
Facts and Events
Sarah Wood's origins have yet to be established. Her first confirmed sighting is on 5th November 1694 when she married a cordwainer (shoemaker) called George Harrison at Flintham in Nottinghamshire. They appear to have had a daughter called Elizabeth, probably at Flintham, before moving a few miles south to parish of Granby, where they went on to have another eight children baptised between 1697 and 1713. Sarah died in 1728, being buried on 11th June 1728. Her daughter Sarah had been buried the previous day, suggesting an illness in the family. George survived her by 16 years. References
