How we miss you, darling mother

As we gaze upon your vacant chair,

Around our home sad and lonely

Absent is your loving face.

You have left us, gone forever

To be happy with the blest;

Freed from all pain everlasting,

Mother darling, God knows best.

From her loving son and daughters, Hiram C. Dunkle, Clara, Bertha Dunkle and Mrs. Lulu D. Dearth.

Mrs. Sarah Dunkle, widow of M. L. Dunkle, deceased, of Jackson township, died at her home in McArthur, on last Sunday morning, aged about fifty-three years. James Milhon, of Jackson township, preached the funeral sermon. Mrs. Dunkle's maiden name was Swaim and she was the daughter of William Swaim, for many years a resident of Swan township. Mrs. Dunkle was a very pleasant and agreeable woman and was well liked by all who knew her. She left three daughters, Misses Clara and Bertha Dunkle, of McArthur, and Mrs. Elmer Dearth, of Ross County, and one son, Columbus Dunkle, to mourn her departure.
