"The Record" pg 181: "William Ford, Jr. married Sarah Ross in 1800-1. They lived in Bonhampton where all the children were born. It is not positively known when the family moved to Perth Amboy, it may have been in 1816, as his mother and wife joined the Presbyterian Church in Perth Amboy that year. This house has been occupied by six generations: . . . William Ford, Jr. and three of his sons, Samuel, William Jackson and Edwin, were shoemakers and the business was continued in the house until the death of William Jackson Ford in 1853."

Her birthdate is estimated from her age at d/o/d mentioned in the Ford Family Bible. Aged 49 years.
