As of July, 2010, I have no documentation that this Sarah Jackson married John Ross. It is conjecture based on John's 1805 Will (see his notes) naming his wife Sarah, and the fact that John and Sarah named their first son Jackson. Another of John and Sarah's children was Sarah Ross who married William Foord and named their son William Jackson Foord.

Perhaps more info will be found in the future but the name Jackson seems to run in this family and so bolster's the conjecture that John's wife Sarah was Sarah Jackson..
