- Services Set for Teacher Sarah R. Kokal
Services for Sarah Ross Kokal, 75, of Marietta, will be at 3 pm Thursday at Marietta First United Methodist Church, burial in Kennesaw Memorial Park.
Mrs. Kokal, a retired elementary-school teacher in the Marietta school system, died Wednesday. A graduate of the Georgia State College for Women, she formerly taught at Park Street, Waterman and Dodd Street schools in Marietta.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Angela Clifton of Millen; son, Dr August Kokal of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters, Mrs. Jessie Morris, Mrs. Kim Norris and Mrs. Elizabeth Trammell, all of Rome, and Mrs. Virginia Hardin of Harlingen, Texas; and brothers, Ben Ross, Lewis Ross and Lamar Ross, all of Rome.
