A record of this family, sent to me by Ella E. Allbritton of Lakewoord, California, shows Sarah Hopkins having a mother named Rachel Mary JOHN and father William HOPKINs.

Mrs. Charles Langley of Pleasant Grove, Utah sent me a xerox copy of the death certificate for Sarah Davies which listed her age as 83 years at time of death 2 October 1874 in Gorsynon, Llangafelach, Glamorganshire. She died at the home of Evan Walters (her daughter's home). Cause of death was listed as "decay of nature." Xerox copy of death certificate in my possession (Enclosure #90). Death certificate was in the registration district of Swansea.

  Richard Jenkins was the registrar.

The town of Gorseinon is written as Gorsynon, Gorsenon and Corseinon on different records; Gorseinon is the correct spelling.
