LIKELY BROTHERS:

Samuel is identified as the father of Thomas and Jane (Morrow) Foster in a family letter found here from 1938. Thomas and Jane's husband James foster are found together in records in Abbeville, SC.

Given the timing, the association between Thomas and George and James Morrow in Abbeville County, and the close DNA matches, it's assumed that Samuel is the brother of the men listed above, but he could be a cousin.

It's also possible that Samuel is a figment of the family's imagination, and that Thomas and Jane are children of James Morrow (abt.1731-abt.1788)--Thomas administered James' estate, known descendants of James ended up in Kentucky near Thomas's children, and James left a number of land records as he moved around the south, as would be expected from the father of a man who immediately purchased over 600 acres when he moved to Kentucky.
